Founded in 1989, the Henry L. Stimson Center is a nonprofit, nonpartisan institution devoted to enhancing international peace and security through a unique combination of rigorous analysis and outreach. The Space Security Project aims to: Increase public awareness about the dangerous consequences of flight testing and deploying space weapons Provide policy makers, legislators, negotiators, and NGOs with information to construct wise space security choices Offer a pragmatic alternative to weaponizing space.
